About LA Live
LA Live is a large entertainment and sports complex in Downtown Los Angeles. It is located in the South Park District, and it is adjacent to the Los Angeles Convention Center and the Staples Center. The Opening of the LA Live
LA Live was developed in three major phases. The first phase was completed in October 2007. It marked the opening of Microsoft Theater, which is a 7,100-seat awards and concert show venue. Restaurants were opened throughout this phase as thirteen eateries were completed in 2009. The first live broadcast took place during this phase, and it was carried out by the ESPN West Coast Broadcast Center.
Phase three: It was the last phase and was finalized in late 2009. The grand launch of the 14-screen Regal Cinemas happened at this time. The Ritz Carlton Hotel, JW Marriott and the Ritz Carlton Residences were opened in the early 2010.
